Type 2/7 for two sevenths. Use (x+1)/7 when the whole expression is divided by 7. Write units, for example 18 cm or 25 cm^2.
Follow each question’s instructions. “Answer” asks for the result; “Explanation” asks for reasoning in words; “Answer and working” asks for the steps and result. Put each step on a new line. Keep incomplete working because it may demonstrate a valid method.
